Discovering
a New Medium for Sculpture

| Coming
to the world of New Media as a practicing clay artist I was
interested in the convergence of traditional sculptural concerns
in a digital environment. This started a line of inquiry that
led to the concept of digital sculpture. In
my research I discovered the artwork of Meats Meier and after
finding his piece entitled "Creation" I knew that
I had encountered what was, in my opinion, my first "digital
sculpture." |

this as my starting point I began to explore the similarities
and differences between traditional and digital approaches to
the realm of sculptural expression. |

This is an on-going process that is still in its infancy and
this website is the first step toward sharing these discoveries.If
